Hoisin And Honey Glazed Turkey Patty

I had a yen for something a little Asian tonight. Since I had to use up the last of my ground turkey, I decided to make a patty with honey and hoisin sauce.

And of course, it wouldn't be a patty without an egg on top.

All I did was season the meat with garlic and pepper and hamburger seasoning. Then I seared one side and smeared some raw honey on the top side along with a teaspoon of hoisin sauce. Then I flipped it over and did the same thing. I basted both sides until my patty was done.

I also used the same pan to sautée some asparagus. Simple Simple Simple. I "poached" my egg in coconut oil and placed it on top of my patty.

I love an egg on top of any burger. It's like its own condiment. Just don't over fry or poach your egg. You want your yolk to drip over the meat as you fork into it.

So that's what was for dinner! Simple and easy and very tasty.
