Brussels Sprouts for dinner, a little kicked up

When I was little we called Brussels Sprouts Barbie Lettuce. I think I was the only kid I knew who actually liked them. Now they are a regular part of my grocery list. 

I put them in my hash for breakfast, I grill them, steam them, sautée and caramelize them. I heart them very much.


For dinner tonight I fried up some bacon, added some onion and let the sprouts caramelize some along with a little garlic seasoning. At the very end I threw in some spinache leaves to lightly wilt them. Once I put everything on the plate, I threw in blue berries and mozzarella cheese. 


The end result was a lot of yum. The blue berries lighten up the dish. Try it out sometime, it's quick and easy.
