I guess you could also call them stuffed salami roll-ups, but I think Salami Cigars has more character.
They are so easy! I love them as a quick fix for a pot luck or family gathering, and you can vary the recipe however you like.
Start with thinly sliced salami.
Spread cream cheese across the whole thing. You can go thick or thin, but you want a nice layer of cheese all across the salam.
You can do several things after this. Roll it up as is, or add the really good stuff.
Peperoncinis!
I also like to add basil leaves to some of them.
Then I'll add more peperonconi. The combination adds a nice peppery kick that I just love, but if you don't love basil just skip it.
